Fred Puthoff, CEO at Puthoff & Company. Born and raised in Ohio, I graduated in 1979 from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and worked in the oil and gas industry after graduation. In 1983, I went back to school at Fort Hays State University and obtained a 2nd Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an Accounting emphasis. Passed the CPA exam and started with Fox and Company CPA’s in December 1983 which subsequently merged into Grant Thornton, CPA’s. I have been practicing on my own since 1990. December of 2023 will mark my 40th year practicing public accounting. My wife, Gayla, and I married in 1984 and have raised 4 children whom we are very proud of. They have blessed us with 5 grandchildren (with one on the way). In my spare time, I spend as much time outside as possible, enjoy time at our ranch located just southwest of Wichita and travel when possible. I enjoy working closely with all of my staff and clients as well and am thankful for each of them!
My name is Joseph Harris. I grew up in Iowa where I eventually went to Valparaiso University for my bachelor’s degree, played on the golf team, and then got my master’s degree at the University of Notre Dame in 2016. I started on a two year rotational program with Textron at their Baltimore and Rockford locations where during that time, I passed the CPA exams. In the summer of 2018, I was re-located to Textron Aviation here in Wichita, KS. A few months later, I met my beautiful wife Courtney and eventually joined the Puthoff & Co team as CPA in January 2020 and have been working here since. The main thing my co-workers know about me is that I’m a big sports guy and history buff. I am a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Fighting Irish, Chicago professional teams (Bears/Bulls/Cubs/etc.), and have warmed up the last few years to the local ones here through marriage & association (Shockers, Chiefs, Wildcats, etc.).
My name is Laura Griffin. After playing volleyball four years and graduating with a degree in Accounting from Newman University, I gratefully joined the Puthoff and Company team in January 2017. While working, I completed my Masters in Business Administration and earned my Certified Public Accountant’s license. I married my wonderful husband Nick in 2022. We are expecting our first child, due in May of 2024. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cheering on the Jayhawks, and jamming out at country concerts.
My name is Hannah Puthoff. I am a CPA and spent 9 years as an auditor in public accounting at Ernst & Young before transitioning to Puthoff & Company in the fall of 2023. While at Ernst & Young, I worked in the US and in New Zealand on a variety of industries ranging from retail, commodities trading, aerospace and defense manufacturing, agriculture, engineering and consulting, and health care to name a few. Across these industries I spent many years working closely with companies of all sizes from start-ups to the second largest private company and the largest public company in the world. I am passionate about teaming, coaching, and empowering others to reach their full potential. Outside of work, I love spending time with my son and family and take every opportunity I can get to be horseback, work cattle, bow hunt, hike, camp, or play music.
My name is Sony Sacks. I have been the Administrative Assistant for Puthoff & Company for over 7 years. I graduated from the National University of Trujillo, Peru with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Before joining Puthoff & Company, I worked for 20 years at the Society of Decorative Painters, an international community of artists as a Membership Coordinator/Spanish Relations. I am a very proud mother of two sons Jacob and Gregory, and nine grandchildren. My family and I enjoy watching sports and cheering for the University of Notre Dame and my grandchildren sports teams. “I am committed to providing the highest standards of member service at all times.
